Programmes

StrongFit

For those who want to be fast, powerful, fit, strong and mobile.

We take the training principles we use with our athletes and teams and apply them to people who see the gym as their sport.

Across the week you'll train mobility, power, strength and do some conditioning/HIIT work, some isolation work for shoulders, arms, calves, glutes etc. and a nice amount of trunk/core work.

StrongFit40

Our intro programme for people new to strength training or coming back after a lay-off.

This shortened version of our regular StrongFit programme (40 denotes that is should take approx 40 mins per session) allows for more regression and scaling of exercises and keeps things a little lighter and more simplified for those who aren’t used to structured S&C.

powerlifting

The Squat, Bench and Deadlift are often considered the royal trifecta of strength exercises.

This programme is for those who want to compete in the sport of powerlifting or for those who just really want to train heavy and improve their SBD numbers!

We’ve taken the knowledge and experience we’ve gained from years supporting the S&C of elite inter-county teams and put together some of the most comprehensive and progressive programmes available in Ireland today.

We have a range of ever-evolving off-season, pre-season and in-season programmes. So no matter where you are in your journey, we can help.

Pre & post natal

Our members stick with us for the long haul. So we’ve helped countless people train and thrive through some of their biggest life events.

No other life event is quite as big as that of bringing a child into the world!

We’ve been fortunate enough to guide many of members through their pre and post natal fitness journeys.

Whether you need expert guidance and tailoring of training or you just want a friendly place where you can feel comfortable to bring your new born while you train - we’ve got you!

youth dEVELOPMENT

For over 4 years, we’ve been engaged by Round Tower GAA to design and implement a Physical Development Pathway for their juvenile players.

We understand how to support youth athletes through their physical and psycho-social growth stages, how to develop them physically to reach their sporting potential and how to make training fun and challenging so they can develop a lifelong love for training and for sport!

hyrox & HyBrid sport

The newest craze in competitive fitness!

We’ve trained and competed with many of our members in Hyrox events - so we understand the high level of training and programming knowledge needed to excel in competitive fitness events.

We’ve put together several programmes that provide all of the running, gym based HIIT, strength training and simulation work needed to smash your next Hyrox.

Whether you need to focus on your fitness, gym-based strength or a combo of both - we’ve got you covered.

endurance sport S&C

More and more people are taking up distance running, triathlons, adventure racing etc. and the clients of Buan are no different!

The benefit of strength training for these events is finally been given the appreciation it deserves.
